POETRY JAM & SLAM | WINTER SESSION

Come jam out some poetry within a creative community, then stay to slam it open-mic style! You're invited to this cozy 6-week session of creation, collaboration, and celebration.  

JAM: 30 minutes

Each week will have a unique theme/prompt, and you'll be invited to spend the first half of the session working on poetry related to that theme, or to use that time and space to work on your personal poetry pursuits. 

SLAM: 30 minutes

After we jam, we'll come together to celebrate our progress on our poems. All will be welcome to share what they crafted during the jam—messy first drafts are  totally acceptable!—or to share another poem that they've been working on outside of the session.  

The cost is $39 for all six sessions, or a drop-in of $8/session. Or if you are a paid subscriber of The Second Cup, this session is completely free to you! 

We'll meet online via ZOOM each Thursday from 8-9 PM (EST) starting on February 15, 2024 and ending on March 21, 2024.
